Since 2003, Skal Club of Hawaii has donated over $25,000.00 in scholarship to the Travel Industry Management Schools at local Hawaiian Universities and Colleges. This is the 13th year of the event and have over 90 golfers supporting the event this year. The participants are in the Travel Industry that include Hotel General Managers, Hotel Directors of Sales and Marketing, Presidents and Vice Presidents of Hotel Brands, local attractions, transportation companies, Hawaii Tour Companies and Travel Agencies. PGA professionals from around Hawai'i and the mainland make teaching a top priority at Play Golf America Day, a free golf festival and demonstration day open to the public at Kapalua Resort on Saturday, September 27, 2008. Come by and try our water!
